Sara Tholander is an alt-pop artist who turns rebellion into rhythm, transforming the feeling of not fitting in into her greatest strength.

A self-taught producer, choreographer and former professional dancer, she fought through doubts and technical barriers to earn a BA in Electronic Music Production & Performance in London — one of only two women in her year.

Sara’s sound is emotional yet defiant — a cocktail of the raw depth of James Blake, the realness of Rihanna, and the vulnerable soul of Lianne La Havas — but always her own. It blurs the boundaries between pop, electronic and cinematic, with snippets of rock and R&B. Driven by contrast, raw honesty and being imperfectly human, yet guided by instinct and rebellion, Sara invites you to feel deeply, release freely and turn difference into community — an invitation for others to feel seen and belong.

Her debut single “BEAT” (out November 14, 2025) is a bold anthem about reclaiming your rhythm after losing yourself in cultural norms and expectations. Written, produced and performed by Sara, the track fuses dreamy vocals, organic drums and explosive electronic energy — a visceral mix of vulnerability and strength. More than a song, BEAT is a rebellion against conformity and a reminder to find your own beat.
